Absolutely. If you are traveling alone or in pairs, you can always book a trip! There is no individual minimum booking requirement, although overall we do need a minimum of people in a raft to run a tour . Our rafts hold between 8 and 10 people, so you will be partnered up with other rafters.

The Middle Canyon is suitable for those who are 12+ years and weigh at least 90 lbs.
The Lower Canyon is suitable for ages 16 & up. If unsure, please ask us.
Upper Canyon: The Upper Canyon is suitable for ages 5 & up
What do I need to wear?
You should come to our office the morning of your trip wearing your bathing suit. Apply sunscreen beforehand as well. Also please keep a towel handy in your car, with your dry clothes; you won’t need them until you come back to our base. We distribute all the river gear you will need for your trip out on the river. There are large change rooms at our office. The clothing you take off stays at our base where you can get access to it at the end of the trip and take a nice hot shower.
We provide: Wet suits, booties (cleaned daily), government approved life jackets and helmets, spray jackets and wool sweaters [if the weather is cool].
Do you take pictures along the way?
Yes, we take photos from shore of your rafting trip and have them on display at our office at the end of your trip. You can view and purchase them at the end of the day. $20 gets you a CD with all the photos from the day. And don’t forget you can also purchase the GoPro footage of your adventure! $35 for a USB stick of your video of the day, or $45 for a combo of both pictures and video on one USB stick!

If you have a waterproof camera it is ok to bring it but remember both of your hands are busy paddling and you risk losing the camera altogether. Our group would like to all be in the same raft. Is this possible?
Yes, it is possible for your group to all be in the same raft. Our rafts hold 8-10 people, so if your group is larger than that, you’ll have to be split up into smaller groups. Are the wetsuits large enough for me/my group?
This is common question that we receive. Our wetsuits come in an assortment of sizes. They are suitable for folks as small as 6 years of age, and adults up to xxxl. The same goes for the rest of our gear. Our life jackets fit up to a 52-inch chest size.
When should I book?
You should book as soon as you know when you would like to raft. Most days of the summer fill up quickly and book out completely. Our cancellation policy is 72 hours prior to trip departure. We recommend making a reservation as soon as you have a date in mind. Some date changes may also be made without any penalty, with enough notice. Please ask us.
If you’re researching a Whitewater Rafting Company to raft with, here are some questions to ask:
- How long has the company been in business? The longer an outfitter has been in business, the more honed the river experience will be.
- What condition is their river gear in? Look for a company that replaces the River Gear you will be wearing all day on a regular basis.
- How many rivers do they run? When companies run multiple rivers, often their guides are not adequately trained for the river they will be running. Look for companies running one or a couple rivers. That way, you know the guides are experienced on that stretch of water.
- What is the minimum age of their guides? This says a lot about the experience level of guide. Look for companies with Guides that are at minimum in their late twenties/early thirties. This will likely ensure adequate life experience and river skills.
Included in tours: All necessary river gear, professional guide, transportation to and from the Kicking Horse River, a riverside Barbecue lunch with most tours [ask for details], hot showers to freshen up after your tour, ample free parking for your RV or vehicle.
What are the group sizes?
